Egg carton challenge

For our Whetu challenge, I made a Miami it didn't turn out as I thought it would because time went really quickly.

In our Whetu challenge, I use scissors, egg cartons, straws, ice block sticks, feathers and hot glue.

The hardest part was glueing the ice block sticks to the top of the egg carton because they weren't holding so I had to put a big ice block stick over all of them.

The easiest part was sticking the feathers to the top of the egg carton so that the ducks don't see it.

Maths mystery week 11

This is my maths mystery it was all kind of hard but I worked it out in the end. The person who I got Amalia Clifford.

Whetu challenge - Paper planes

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be impossible but once we started doing it it was easy.

I decided to use the design simple it was pretty easy but when I was doing a couple of the folds I didn't get them right so I had to go back to the start and check it.

The hardest part was trying to get my plane onto the runway or in the Bunka

During our competition time, I managed to get a score of 3 because my plane was on the 3 on the runway.

Word of the week week 10

This is my word of the week the word was bewildered. The hardest part was finding a sentence.

Discovery week 10

This is my discovery that I have been working on for the last few weeks. I am working on changing the colours and adding the sounds of all the different types of ducks.

TT rockstars week 10

This is my tt rockstars status last week I was 2. 47 and now I am 1.95 so I'm getting better. I am aiming for rock Hero.

This is my maths mystery I did it with logan we got Ruby. The maths mystery this week was easy.

Basketball

For rotations, for the last few weeks, a guy has been coming in and teaching us how to play and a few games. This week I went and week played a few games. I think that I could improve on my dribbling but I am pretty good at shooting. It has been pretty fun.

TT Rockstars status

This week for TT Rockstars I have got faster. I am now 2.47 I was 2.67 so I am getting better but I still think I could do better

This week for sick sentences was an eagle with a bee. The hardest part was doing the sentences slide because I couldn't think of anything. The easiest part was doing the nouns.

Week 9 maths mystery

This week for maths mystery I got Seb. The easiest part was doing the pancakes to 20. The hardest part was doing the flipping pancake because I got confused with the start where you had to count on.

Week 9 blog challenge

This is my blog challenge for week 9 my biggest achievement will be catching a blue marlin. The hardest part was trying to put the image onto my blog because I tried to put a screenshot on but it was too blurry so I had to put it on like a slide. 

Whetu tennis ball tower

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge👏

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper,
2 straws and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball
and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Logan and Alex

At first, we had trouble thinking of what to make but in the end, we found a way to make it.

The easiest thing was taping it together and making all the supports.

Our tower looked pretty bad I think we could do better next time.
