Who- Mrs Taaffe took the chocolates because she likes little chocolates.

What - She parks out by Mr Hitchmans shed.

Where-  Mrs Taaffe was here on the day it happended

Why - Mrs Taaffe was having trouble casting so she came to get the HDMI cable and she saw chocolate so she stole 18 milky way.

When- Her feet were the same size. 

How- Mrs Taaffe came in and admitted it. She did the crime at 12:58.

Athletics

The optional events that I entered were the 800-metre wich that was 2 laps of the track. I came 2nd to last in my 800-metre. And the relay which was 100-metres. In my relay, I had Cooper, Oscar and Patrick. We won our relay. In my 100-metre I came 3rd and made it to the finals. Then I came last in my finals. In my 200-metre I came 2nd to last. In long jump, I jumped 3.17. The most challenging event was 800-metre because it was so long but I am going to do 1500. I enjoyed long jump the most because it is the easiest event. I felt nervous before all of the track events.

Letter of the week

 

This is my letter of the week. The letter was m as you can see. I couldn't think of any more word so I just did those ones.

Rad Rhythm

This week for our rotations I choose Rad Rhythm. I enjoyed having a bit of free time making your own beat or song. I made a beat with Patrick and Janko. I have learnt about beat and Rhythm. Next time I think we should make a song if we have free time again. A challenge for me is to stay in time with the beat and rhythm. I worked with Patrick and Janko.

Art

This is my art I did McCormick because I like driving the tractor and Suzuki because I have a Suzuki motorbike. Rugby jersey and ball because I play rugby.

Whetu workshops

Whetū Workshops Reflection

During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops.

The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been Science and fitness.

The new learning that I have learnt is that lemon and baking soda react more than vinegar and baking soda. And that a paper clip can float if.

What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are that you can choose your options and have heaps of options

 I am interested in learning more about science and what else you can make float.

Inquiry

This is my inquiry So what?" I created a brochure online to show my learning about the question 'Should animals be kept in zoos?' My opinion was they should be kept in zoos because they live longer in zoos.

Cross country.

This year for Cross country we ran around the bike track. I did 2 big laps and 1 small. I came 9th. The hardest part was doing the first big lap because I knew I still had to do 1 more. I got 2 sausages after and a juice. If I pushed myself a bit more in training it would have been a little bit easier.

Chapter chap. Create

This is my freak out scale from the book Wink. I used cool text to get the writing like that. The hardest part was trying to get ten shapes in the inside. I did this on google drawings. I added a lot of colour.

Whetu challenge (Peppa pig)

This is my group's scene. I did Daddy pig from Peppa pig the show. The hardest part was trying to get the right colours and do the glasses because it wouldn't let me do it that short. I traced around an image of Daddy pig. I liked Jankos group because the incredibles looked pretty hard but they still did it.

Poison dart frog

This is my animal research I did a poison dart frog. I learnt a lot.

Egg Drop Challenge

This Week for Whetu Challenge we did an egg drop. The hardest part was constructing it and making a safe place for the egg. We used the bag that we got given we made a parachute with it and then tided our sock to the handles and then put newspaper on the bottom of the sock for more protection. Our egg survived the drop.

Maths literacy

For maths literacy this week Logan and I got Tessa the terribly.

Maths mystery

This week we did a code breaker I did it with Logan. The hardest was doing the end slide because we got mixed up with what the letters equaled.

Word of the week

The word this week was oblivios it means. If you are reading a book and people are talking to you you are oblivios.
